Pickup up the concrete vibrator (HF #34923) for a pole barn project that involves setting 16 6x6 posts in 4' deep holes. Each post requires about five 80lb. bags of concrete. After shovelling the mixed concrete hole around the post, used the vibrator. It's outstanding. Spreads and smooths the concrete really nicely, assuring really good adhesion to the post. Suprisingly good tool. Concrete vibrators are expensive specialty tools. Most people who need them casually will rent them or forego them. This HF tool is a worthwhile investment for anyone doing small-ish concrete projects.
