I've been around this forum for a while but never registered or posted. Was going to pick this up since it was cheap but not going to now. Is this guy serious, is it that bad?
No, it’s just got it’s limitations. It wasn’t meant to replace a bigger rotary tool. I have had a couple customers use them to get into tiny grooves when cleaning up engines or other metal projects where they needed a very small tool or where it was not practical for a bigger tool. I have two, that I picked up when they where $6.99 and have used them to cut off a MIMed hammer spur on my Taurus 856 and then polish up the hammer to make it look good. I also have one set up with a small 1/16” drill bit to drill holes in my pistols from the sight. They are nice to have set up with a polisher pad or cut off wheel and ready to go. I won’t replace my Chicago Electric tool, but it goes compliment it. Dog
